Imbalance in the structure and/or function of the pelvis, hip joint & thigh bones can lead to faulty movement patterns, restrictions and a feeling of discomfort in the lower back, sacro-ileac joint, hip, groin, knee, ankle and even the shoulders.

Similarly - imbalance in muscle strength, particularly the gluteal muscles and/or damage to the labrum (lining of the hip socket) can create discomfort & dysfunctional movement patterns.

This targeted yoga class can help you:

  • Gain greater mobility in the hip, pelvis & lower back with safe, functional yoga

  • Develop awareness of imbalance and its its implications

  • Learn strengthening practices to correct imbalance

  • Release tightness and restriction

  • Understand & work with hip & gluteal pain

  • Learn functional movement principles
