Therapeutic yoga - for healthy hips

Imbalance in the structure and/or function of the pelvis and thigh bones can lead to faulty movement patterns, restrictions and a feeling of discomfort in the lower back, sacro-ileac joint, hip, groin, knee, ankle and even the shoulders. Principles and practices from the Hañsa therapeutic yoga system are incorporated into each class according to the needs of students in the group. The 6-week course creates an environment where you can develop awareness, movement, release and strengthening practices to correct habitual or health-related movement patterns that may are detrimental to the balance between mobility and stability in the hips (and related structures).

This class is suitable for anyone wishing to look after their hips and lower back, including those seeking ongoing rehabilitation following labral or hip joint repair or replacement.
