What is Reflexology?
Reflexology is a varied combination of small focused movements, manipulation and massage on various parts of the feet, hands, or face. These reflex points correspond to the areas in the body and can help reduce pain, Oedema and restore balance so you can manage your health and wellbeing. The touch and pressure movements are specifically designed to trigger a relaxing sensory message from these reflexes which optimise the function of muscles and internal organs and their systems. Because of reflexology’s ability to increase blood supply, additional oxygen and nutrients can travel to cells and help remove waste. As a result, reflexology can benefit the circulatory, respiratory, endocrine, immune, and digestive systems.

About Janette
I trained as a Reflexologist over 12 years ago after experiencing the whole body calming and emotional balance after my first encounter with this therapy. It helped address the high stress but fun employment environment I was working in at that time. Now I find it fascinating to watch my clients emerge from the massage table “blissed out” and feeling utterly relaxed and leaving those cares and tensions behind and hearing their experiences during the following days after a treatment.
