MoveWell yoga
We have a range of small group yoga therapy classes with specific therapeutic application or movement focus to help you to move well, breathe well and be well as you learn progressive practices that can help day to day movement, health and recovery. Classes are based in Somatic yoga principles of body-mind awareness, breath practice (pranayama), sequential ‘yoga asana’ inspired movement (mindful, functional flow) and nervous system regulation for deep relaxation and stress relief.
Each class will teach you how to become more aware of the way your body moves, and the habits that can negatively affect health, wellbeing and mobility.
Specifically selected movement practices help you to experience greater ease, fluidity, strength and stability in day-to-day movement.
YOGA THERAPY classes
Targeted yoga therapy classes (such as healthy hips, happy back, neck & shoulders) also include focused rehabilitation practices to build strength, stability, & mindfulness to increase awareness of habitual movement tendencies. The class focus changes each 5-6 week block to allow progressive learning and practice development.
