Yoga therapy - pelvic balance

The pelvis connects the upper and lower body, so it’s absolutely integral to stability, mobility and coordination of physical movement and inner strength. Its ‘central’ location and function explains why pain and/or dysfunctional movement patterns almost anywhere in the body can manifest, or originate in the pelvis, lower abdomen or lower back.

This class is suitable for anyone and can be particularly beneficial if you experience:

  • Lower back pain

  • Sacro-iliac discomfort

  • Pelvic instability

  • Pelvic floor weakness, injury or trauma

    • Post natal

    • Post operative

    • Posture

    • Bladder weakness

  • Hamstring tightness / tenderness

  • Weakness in core muscles

Each class in this 6-week course creates an opportunity to realign, rebalance, strengthen, stabilise and be more aware of pelvic structure & function.

Yoga therapy movement, breathing and strengthening practices will help you experience balance and a stronger connection to centre.
